Flight #75
1 June 2023 • Dockweiler • Hang 0 - Student
My fifth day of training at Dockweiler. I have about 50 flights at the beach now. Day went really well. Started with low 6MPH winds but it picked up to around 8MPH with 10MPH gusts. Successfully flew hands-off at trim again. My launches are improving. I realized my shoulders were never in the right position in the control frame. I always had the downtubes too far back. By locking them in on the more forward part of my shoulders, I have far greater control and I can yaw the gilder with my body and a turn of my shoulders. Andy and I also spoke a lot about me getting my first glider. Turns out he is a dealer for Moyes, North Wing and Wills Wing, so he can get me almost anything I want.
