Flight #50
28 May 1999 • Webberville, MI • Hang II - Novice
I saw something stunning on this flight. There were clouds being reflected in a dark, black pond and it looked as if I was gazing down on another sky. So, I tried to fly over to a bigger pond and it was downwind from the airport. I almost didn't make it back. I was really scared. I barely cleared the trees (maybe 20 feet over of less) on the eastern side of the field.
